“The whole city in your pocket” – goes the slogan of the Budapest Card published by the Tourism Office of Budapest, providing tourists with over a hundred benefits:
- Unlimited travel on public transportation
- Free or discounted admission at 60 museums and a few attractions
- City tour at half price
- Discounted tickets for cultural and folklore programmes
- Discounts in restaurants and spas
- Discounts at car rentals, at sports facilities and numerous other places
- Travel accident insurance
The Budapest Card is valid for an adult and an accompanied child no older than 14 years of age.
2008 price:
For 48 hours: HUF 6500
For 72 hours: HUF 8000
Guests coming to attend the Budapest Winter Invasion campaign may purchase the Budapest Card at a 20% discount between December 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008 at the following tourist information offices. At the time of purchase please present the Budapest Winter Invasion card that you have been given at the hotel.
