3) Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

4) Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

5) Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

6) VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. 3 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included.

Medical department of Danubius Health Spa Resort Helia offers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic facilities under the supervision of highly qualified, multilingual physicians.

Spa therapy section:
Diagnostic section: medical examination, laboratory, ECG Massage: medical-, sport-, reflex, anti cellulite.

Medical gymnastics: individual-, group-, water gymnastics
Hydrotherapy: hydroxeur bath, weight bath, carbon dioxide bath, fragrant bath, jacuzzi.

Hydro-electrotherapy: ultra-sound, decimed, iontophoresis, interference current, galvanic current, diadynamic Inhalation, Parafango, Inno-rheuma cream-pack Oxygentherapy Weyland massage-chair.

Indications: locomotor disorders, articular pain, rheumatism ( except acute inflammation ), circulatory disturbances, postoperative rehabilitation, exhaustion, recreation.

Contraindications: acute inflammation, rheumatic fever, acute stage of S.L.E. and immune diseases, certain skin diseases, cardiac diseases, sclerosis multiplex, feverish condition, thrombosis.

The hotel has 262 rooms, most of them overlooking the river Danube, Margaret Island and the Buda hills.

Non-smoking and connecting rooms are available.

Food & beverage

Restaurant Jupiter offers a hot buffet breakfast between 07:00 and 10:00, lunch between 12:00 and 15:00 and dinner between 18:00 and 22:00. Hungarian and international foods are served. Vegetarian foods available.

Café (08:00 - 22:00) offering homemade pastries, snacks, soft drinks, coffee and tea specialties.

The hotel is centrally located - the downtown area can be reached within a few minutes.

Travel information

Travelling by car:
Hotel is on the Pest-side in front of the Margaret-Island (Margitsziget)
at the very end (north) of the quay. Quay turns right at the end, on the right side you will find the hotel.

Travelling by public transport:
Our hotel can be reached also by underground. From the city centre you can take the metro (blue line M3) and take off at station "Dózsa György út". From there you can walk on the Dráva street about 200 metres to the hotel.

From the airport you should take bus called "Reptér-busz" = Airport bus which takes you to the terminal of the blue metro line and you take here the metro for 14 stations until Dózsa György út station.
